Learn how to play the Swiss National Sport
in our Jass Course
Discover why the Swiss love playing Jass. In this interactive course, you will learn about the history of this fun game, get to know the cards and their values. You will be equipped with the basic rules to be able to play. a Schieber. Swiss German cards will be used. It is not all theory, this is a hands on course with ample opportunity to playing games. After the course, there are opportunities to play regularly at the club be it social or at competition nights. Children 12+ are welcome to sign up as well, as long they are accompanied by a responsible adult Course materials are included. Drinks at bar prices.

We play a simple Schieber, Swiss or French Cards, your choice. There are four rounds of eight games, changing partner each round. Includes a light supper at the end.

Bring a friend—spread the word! The Swiss Club Ladies’ Luncheon is more than just a chance to catch up. It is an opportunity to connect and forge lasting friendships. Join us for lively conversation and shared community at the Swiss Club of Victoria on the last Tuesday of each month.
Join fellow SCV members and their guests at the annual SCV lantern parade before the formal SCV dinner commences. We will meet at the clubrooms from 5:30pm and depart there by 5:45pm and meet at the Federation Square steps facing Swanston Street at 6:00pm commencing the parade along Flinders Walk through to Batman Avenue and back up to the club for some light refreshments.
NOTE: If you would like to stay for the formal dinner at 7pm you will need to book separately for this event.
